September 2, 2025: Scottsdale, AZ 85253 Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Chaparral improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Firebirds host Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Pride in a test on Monday, September 22. The Pride go into the test with a record of 2-1.
The Vipers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Ironwood for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. Verrado will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
