September 2, 2025: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) soccer team edged the host Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), by a count of 2-1.
The Chargers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elgin for a non-league contest on Monday, September 8. Dundee-Crown will battle a Maroons team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 1-2.
The Grenadiers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Saxons enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Schaumburg held off Central (Burlington, IL), 9-0, in a non-league contest.
