California High School Volleyball - Pinole Valley can't get by Alhambra
September 2, 2025: Martinez, CA 94553 Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Alhambra advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hercules (Hercules, CA) to face the Titans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Titans go into the test with a record of 2-0. Hercules won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Swett (Crockett, CA)
The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Marin for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Pinole Valley will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over San Domenico (San Anselmo, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.
