September 2, 2025: Whittier, CA 90605 Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Valley Christian advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Defenders travel to Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Ontario Christian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bonita (La Verne, CA)
Next, the Lancers play the Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. La Serna will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Monrovia (Monrovia, CA).
