Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Ambridge toppled by Central Valley
September 2, 2025: Monaca, PA 15061 Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Central Valley moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA) to clash with the Wolverine in a WPIAL AA 4 test on Tuesday, September 9. The Wolverine come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Bridgers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montour for a test on Thursday, September 4. Ambridge will play a Spartans squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-1.
