Ohio High School Soccer - Grand Valley toppled by Newton Falls
September 2, 2025: Orwell, OH 44076 Newton Falls Tigers (Newton Falls, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH), 9-1 in a non-league outing.
The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Southeast (Ravenna, OH). The Pirates go into the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Southeast was overwhelmed by Champion (Warren, OH), 6-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 4. Grand Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 1-1 non-league Conneaut (Conneaut, OH).
