September 2, 2025: South Charleston, WV 25309 South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Herbert Hoover Huskies (Elkview, WV), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, South Charleston moves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Black Eagles travel to Capital (Charleston, WV) to clash with the Cougars in a Mountain State test on Thursday, September 4. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Capital lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Winfield (Winfield, WV)
The Huskies now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Winfield for a Cardinal test on Thursday, September 4. Herbert Hoover will clash with a Generals team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Capital (Charleston, WV). The Generals record now stands at 4-1.
