September 2, 2025: Louisville, KY 40212 Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Portland Christian Eagles (Louisville, KY), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Nelson County moves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Pleasure Ridge Park won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Holy Cross Cougars (Louisville, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Portland Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Southern (Louisville, KY).
