September 2, 2025: Wheeling, WV 26003 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the The Linsly School Cadets (Wheeling, WV) and the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), saw The Linsly School's soccer squad get by Parkersburg by a final score of 2-1.
With the triumph, The Linsly School moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cadets host East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV) to meet the Bees in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Bees come into the test with a record of 3-0. East Fairmont won 10-0 in their recent league test against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
The Big Reds now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cabell Midland for a Mountain State test on Thursday, September 4. Parkersburg will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.
