Illinois High School Soccer - Ridgewood knocks off Schurz
September 2, 2025: Norridge, IL 60706 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) and the visiting Schurz Bulldogs (Chicago, IL), saw Ridgewood's soccer squad knock off Schurz by a count of 3-0.
The Rebels (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Hornets enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Hinsdale South by Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South (Calumet City, IL), 5-4, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Senn for a Chicago Public First North match on Friday, September 5. Schurz will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-1 league win over Chicago Sullivan (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
