New Mexico High School Volleyball - Silver over Alamogordo

Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) and the host Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM), saw Silver's volleyball squad notch a victory over Alamogordo by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Silver improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Fighting Colts travel to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Organ Mountain lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Jefferson (El Paso, TX)

The Tigers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. Alamogordo will battle a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Americas (El Paso, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.
