Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders (Arthur, IL) and the host Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), saw Arthur-Okaw Christian's volleyball squad nudge Tri-City by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Arthur-Okaw Christian improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Conquering Riders travel to Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL) to encounter the Buffaloes in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Georgetown-Ridge Farm won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Schlarman (Danville, IL)

The Tornadoes now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lutheran for a MSM contest on Thursday, September 4. Tri-City will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Pawnee (Pawnee, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-5.
