In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cathedral City Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Twentynine Palms Wildcats.

The Lions (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomington (Bloomington, CA). The Bruins come into the non-league test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Bloomington was defeated by JW North (Riverside, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Shores for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Twentynine Palms will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Desert Mirage (Thermal, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
