September 2, 2025: Douglasville, GA 30134 The Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA) volleyball overcame the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest.
The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, McEachern was knocked off by Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rams encounter the Archer Tigers (Lawrenceville, GA) in a 6A Area 4 battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Newton will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 15-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Duluth (Duluth, GA).
