September 2, 2025: Houston, MS 38851 The Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS) volleyball held off the visiting Eupora Eagles (Eupora, MS), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mooreville for a Class 4A Region 2 bout on Thursday, September 4. Houston will clash with a Troopers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Belmont (Belmont, MS). The Troopers record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Eupora drops to 5-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Velma Jackson (Camden, MS) to battle the Falcons in a Class 2A Region 4 match on Thursday, September 4. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 0-3. Velma Jackson lost 3-0 in their recent league match against East Webster (Maben, MS)
