With the win, Verona improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hillbillies host Montville (Montville, NJ) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vernon for a Northwest New Jersey - Freedom battle on Wednesday, September 10.
