September 2, 2025: Sacramento, CA 95835 Westlake Charter Explorers (Sacramento, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Johnson Warriors (Sacramento, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Westlake Charter improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Explorers host Sacramento Waldorf (Fair Oaks, CA) to meet the Waves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 3. The Waves come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
Next, the Warriors meet the Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Oakmont (Roseville, CA).
