September 2, 2025: Packwood, IA 52580 Pekin Panthers (Packwood, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Keota Eagles (Keota, IA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pekin improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Panthers host Wapello (Wapello, IA) to encounter the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Indians go into the test with a record of 5-1. Wapello won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against English Valleys (North English, IA)
Next, the Eagles meet the Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Keota will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Baxter (Baxter, IA).
