September 2, 2025: Thorndale, TX 76577 Savio Eagles (Austin, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Savio improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Eagles host Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX) to meet the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Hill Country Christian School of Austin lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Texas Christian (Temple, TX)
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Thrall Tigers (Thrall, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Thorndale will attempt to advance on its 3-16 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 10-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to McMullen County (Tilden, TX).
