September 20, 2022: Raleigh, NC 27606 The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Athens Drive Jaguars to 0 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now have a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sanderson for a non-league game on Thursday, September 22. Cardinal Gibbons will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 4-9.
The Jaguars (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals enter the non-league game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Broughton gained a win over Enloe (Raleigh, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
