September 20, 2022: Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107 Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME), 2-1 in a non-league contest.
Next, the Capers face the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) in a Class B - South test, on Friday, September 23. Cape Elizabeth will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Lakers come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME).
