Indiana High School Soccer - Jasper nudges Washington
September 20, 2022: Jasper, IN 47546 Jasper Wildcats (Jasper, IN) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) in a Southern Indiana challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Jasper will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Noblesville (Noblesville, IN).
The Hatchets now have a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Princeton for a Pocket challenge on Thursday, September 22. Washington will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.
