September 20, 2022: Hubbard, TX 76648 Hubbard Jaguars (Hubbard, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Mart Panthers (Mart, TX) in a 2A Region II District 14 match, on Friday, September 23. Hubbard will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 1-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mumford (Mumford, TX).
With the loss, La Vega drops to 2-16 on the campaign. The Pirates host Salado (Salado, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Region III District 23 match on Friday, September 23.
