September 20, 2022: Trumbull, CT 06611 Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Nighthawks clash with the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest-Colonial match, on Wednesday, September 21. Newtown will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Bethel (Bethel, CT).
With the loss, St. Joseph drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cadets host Stamford (Stamford, CT) to clash with the Black Knights in a Fairfield County match on Thursday, September 22. The Black Knights come into the match with a record of 4-0. Stamford won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Weston (Weston, CT)
