New York High School Volleyball - Riverhead crushed by Westhampton Beach
September 20, 2022: Riverhead, NY 11901 The Westhampton Beach Hurricanes topped the host Riverhead Blue Waves volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hurricanes now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocky Point for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 21. Westhampton Beach will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sayville (Sayville, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
The Blue Waves (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY). The Raiders enter the Section 11 AA-1 test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Patchogue-Medford was knocked off by Commack (Commack, NY), 3-0, in a league test.
