September 20, 2023: Riner, VA 24149 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues football squad scored a good 28-8 victory over the Auburn Eagles.
In their next game, the Fighting Blues clash with the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 25. Parry McCluer will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 30-0 non-league loss to Floyd County (Floyd, VA).
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Giles thwarted Grayson County (Independence, VA), 26-22, in a non-league match.
