With the win, Coronado improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX) to confront the Pirates in a non-league test on Thursday, September 28. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 2-1. Lubbock-Cooper won 28-27 in their recent non-league test against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX)
With the loss, Caprock moves to 4-2 on the season. The Longhorns host Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to confront the Sandies in a non-league test on Thursday, September 28. The Sandies go into the test with a record of 3-0. Amarillo won 16-14 in their recent non-league test against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX)
