Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Maroons confront the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Champaign Central will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Sages enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 10-2 league loss to Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL).
