Colorado High School Soccer - Cheyenne Mountain knocks off Pueblo West
September 20, 2023: Colorado Springs, CO 80906 Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Pueblo West Cyclones (Pueblo West, CO), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red-Tailed Hawks confront the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record.
The Cyclones now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo County for a 4A/3A South Central challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Pueblo West will confront a Hornets team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO). The Hornets record now stands at 4-2.
