September 20, 2023: Sayre, OK 73662 The Sayre Eagles softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Hooker Bulldogs to 3 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Sayre improves its record to 13-15 on the year. The Eagles travel to Crescent (Crescent, OK) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A game on Thursday, September 21. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 20-11. Crescent lost 11-0 in their recent league game against Dale (Dale, OK)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Dale Pirates (Dale, OK) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 20. Hooker will attempt to improve on its 12-14 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 31-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Tuttle (Tuttle, OK).
