Missouri High School Softball - Mid-Buchanan holds off Oak Grove
September 20, 2023: Oak Grove, MO 64075 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Mid-Buchanan Dragons (Faucett, MO) and the host Oak Grove Panthers (Oak Grove, MO), witnessed Mid-Buchanan's softball squad tip Oak Grove by a count of 3-1.
The Dragons now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they host North Platte for a Class 2 District 14 match on Thursday, September 21. Mid-Buchanan will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Notre Dame de Sion (Kansas City, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Oak Grove moves to 9-4 on the season. The Panthers host Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO) to face the Tigers in a Class 3 District 14 match on Thursday, September 21. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 5-6.
