Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Danville over Shenandoah Valley
September 20, 2023: Shenandoah, PA 17976 Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils (Shenandoah, PA), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Ironmen clash with the Athens Wildcats (Athens, PA) in a PIAA District IV match, on Saturday, September 23. Danville will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA).
The Blue Devils (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Williams Valley (Tower City, PA). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Williams Valley gained a win over Weatherly (Weatherly, PA), 3-0, in a league game.
