With the win, Percy Julian upgrades its record to 3-7 on the year. The Phoenix host Prattville (Prattville, AL) to play the Lions in a 7A Area 3 bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-14.
The Poets now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wetumpka for a 6A Area 3 bout on Thursday, September 21. Lanier will play a Indians squad coming off a 25-22 non-league win over Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL). The Indians record now stands at 7-5.
