September 20, 2024: Taylorsville, NC 28681 The Alexander Central Cougars football team (Taylorsville, NC), was crushed 42-10 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC)
With the win, Sun Valley advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Spartans host Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to encounter the Mavericks in a 4A Southern Carolina bout on Friday, September 27. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Marvin Ridge won 38-9 in their recent non-league bout against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC)
