September 20, 2024: Lexa, AR 72355 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR) and the host Barton Bears (Lexa, AR), witnessed Earle's football squad wallop Barton by a tally of 66-22.
The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Des Arc (Des Arc, AR). The Eagles enter the 2A Region 2 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Des Arc was trounced by Carlisle (Carlisle, AR), 30-8, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Bears battle the Fordyce Redbugs (Fordyce, AR) in a 3A Region 8 contest, on Friday, September 27. Barton will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Redbugs enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 58-10 non-league win over Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR).
