In Friday's non-league match, the host Desert Mountain Wolves football squad scored a decisive 44-0 triumph over the Cactus Cobras.

The Wolves (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Coyotes come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Campo Verde was routed by Highland (Gilbert, AZ), 35-3, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Cobras meet the Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 27. Cactus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 31-28 non-league loss to Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ).
