September 20, 2024: Centerville, IA 52544 The Centerville Big Reds/Redettes football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Clarke Indians to 7 in the Big Reds/Redettes league triumph on Friday.
The Big Reds/Redettes now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chariton for a 2A District 7 test on Friday, September 27. Centerville will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 21-13 league win over Interstate 35 (Truro, IA). The Chargers record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Clarke drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Van Meter (Van Meter, IA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A District 7 test on Friday, September 27. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-1. Van Meter won 45-0 in their recent league test against Clarinda (Clarinda, IA)
