New York High School Football - Patchogue-Medford can't hold off Central Islip
September 20, 2024: Medford, NY 11763 Central Islip Musketeers (Central Islip, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY), 14-10 in a league battle.
With the win, Central Islip improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Musketeers travel to Walt Whitman (Huntington Station, NY) to play the Wildcats in a Section 11 Division I battle on Friday, September 27. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Walt Whitman lost 38-15 in their recent league battle against Longwood (Middle Island, NY)
The Raiders now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Riverhead for a Section 11 Division I battle on Saturday, September 28. Patchogue-Medford will play a Blue Waves team coming off a 43-13 league loss to Commack (Commack, NY). The Blue Waves record now stands at 1-1.
