In Friday's non-league match, the host Cheshire Rams football squad scored a good 37-21 victory over the Fitch Falcons.

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Grizzlies enter the Southern Connecticut - Tier 1 match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Guilford thwarted Pomperaug (Southbury, CT), 49-20, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 27. Fitch will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 27-10 league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CT).
