Ohio High School Football - Elgin beat Cory-Rawson

The Elgin Comets football squad scored 29 points and limited the host Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets to 3 in the Comets league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Worthington Christian for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Elgin will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 45-14 non-league win over Trimble (Glouster, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Cory-Rawson drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Fighting hornets travel to Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH) to meet the Tigers in a Northwest Central test on Friday, September 27. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Waynesfield-Goshen won 49-14 in their recent league test against North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH)
