The Culver Academies Eagles got by the host Hammond Central Wolves football team by a score of 41-34 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles play the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Culver Academies will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Kougars go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 34-20 league loss to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN).

The Wolves (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Andrew nipped Metea Valley (Aurora, IL), 46-7, in a league challenge.
