September 20, 2024: Barco, NC 27917

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) and the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), witnessed Currituck County's football squad topple Hertford County by a count of 34-14.

The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bruins enter the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Camden County thwarted Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC), 21-20, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Bears confront the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest, on Friday, September 27. Hertford County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 21-20 league loss to Camden County (Camden, NC).
