September 20, 2024: Manila, AR 72442 The East Poinsett County Warriors were victorious over the host Manila Lions football team by a score of 32-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, September 27. East Poinsett County will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 45-0 non-league loss to Quitman (Quitman, AR).
The Lions (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR). The Bobcats enter the 3A Region 3 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Walnut Ridge ran past Earle (Earle, AR), 44-30, in a non-league challenge.
