The Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs football squad scored 30 points and limited the host Elgin Maroons to 14 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fenton for a UpState 8 - East test on Friday, September 27. Riverside-Brookfield will clash with a Bison squad coming off a 49-6 league loss to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Bison record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Elgin drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Aurora East (Aurora, IL) to clash with the Tomcats in a UpState 8 - West test on Friday, September 27. The Tomcats come into the test with a record of 0-4. Aurora East lost 28-4 in their recent league test against Larkin (Elgin, IL)
