The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) and the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), witnessed Northeastern's football squad wallop First Flight by a tally of 66-7.

The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces enter the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Holmes crushed Manteo (Manteo, NC), 28-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Nighthawks confront the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest, on Friday, September 27. First Flight will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Redskins enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 28-6 league loss to Holmes (Edenton, NC).
