The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) and the visiting Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX), witnessed Ridge Point's football squad knock off Fort Bend Elkins by a tally of 54-28.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Travis was outscored by Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX), 45-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights battle the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 contest, on Thursday, September 26. Fort Bend Elkins will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 31-7 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).
