In Friday's league match, the host Trinity Valley Trojans football squad scored a good 42-28 triumph over the Fort Worth Country Day Falcons.

The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their match against St. Andrew's (Austin, TX). The Highlanders come into the Southwest Prep 3A match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, St. Andrew's was beaten by Houston Christian (Houston, TX), 42-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Greenhill Hornets (Addison, TX) in a Southwest Prep 3A match, on Friday, October 4. Fort Worth Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
