September 20, 2024: Groton, NY 13073 The Groton Indians football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Greene Trojans to 6 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moravia for a Section 4 8-Man (8 Man) test on Friday, September 27. Groton will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 50-42 non-league loss to Pembroke (Corfu, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Greene drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Newfield (Newfield, NY) to meet the Trojans in a Section 4 8-Man (8 Man) test on Friday, September 27. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-3. Newfield lost 24-22 in their recent non-league test against Unatego (Otego, NY)
