Missouri High School Football - Marshfield tops Hillcrest
September 20, 2024: Marshfield, MO 65706 The Marshfield Bluejays football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Hillcrest Hornets to 7 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bluejays now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bolivar for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Marshfield will meet a Liberators squad coming off a 28-27 league loss to Parkview (Springfield, MO). The Liberators record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Hillcrest drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-1. Carl Junction won 38-13 in their recent non-league battle against Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO)
