September 20, 2024: Flossmoor, IL 60422 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) and the visiting Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), witnessed Homewood-Flossmoor's football squad knock off Neuqua Valley by a tally of 43-16.
The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins enter the Southwest Valley - Blue contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Lincoln-Way East gained a win over Naperville North (Naperville, IL), 49-17, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 27. Neuqua Valley will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Barbs enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 39-6 league loss to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL).
